Department of Commerce “Successful Cooperative Business Model for Entrepreneurs”

Brief details of the event highlights: Department of Commerce, CBSA organised a webinar on “Successful Cooperative Business Model for Entrepreneurs” on 29th October, 2021 for the students of B.com & M.com. The resource person for the webinar was Mr. Rajeev Sharma, Sr. Director, National cooperative Union of India (NCUI). NCUI is an apex body of cooperative movement under department of cooperative ministry. Mr. Rajeev Sharma is B.sc (PCM) & MA in Economics. He has a vast experience of working with AICTE. He has also worked as lecturer in ICM, Jaipur. Presently he is associated with NCUI as Sr. Director.

 The session was conducted with the objective of providing future direction to all aspiring students who want to run their own business.  It guided the students to serve the interests of the economy and the society on the principle of self help and mutual help. The webinar was organised under the aegis of Institutions’ Innovation Council.

Response of the audience/ learning for the students: All the aspiring students B.com & M.com participated in the session enthusiastically and took keen interest in the session. This webinar provided in-depth knowledge on what are the essentials of successful cooperative business model for the entrepreneurs. It guided students on benefits of entrepreneurship for society and provided valid inputs for running successful start-ups.

Learning Outcomes: The session was very knowledgeable for the students. The session enlightened the young audience regarding the cooperative business models for successful entrepreneurship business. It also helped the students to understand how to serve the interests of the economy and the society based upon the principle of self help and mutual help.
