Brief Profile of the Experts: Expert session on “Role of Intellectual Property Rights in Strengthening Innovations’’ was delivered by Dr Shweta Singh and Mr. Khushal Juneja.
Dr Shweta, Founder & CEO-Ennoble IP & Shereal Chairperson, Co-Founder – Naandii Fintech. She is a rich amalgamation and affluence of corporate and educational expertise with excellence in the field of IPR, Start-up Ecosystem & Management.
Dr Shweta has corporate expertise in IP research & strategy of over 13 years, covering all aspects of Intellectual Property laws, primarily covering Patent, Design and Trademark. She was Awarded as “Exceptional Women of Excellence – 2019” by Women Economic Forum , Women Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2019 by Start-up City and Awarded as “Women Achiever of the year for IP” 2019.
Mr. Khushal Juneja, General Manager-Ennoble IP
He is an experienced IP professional with demonstrated history of working in legal (IP) services industry. He is skilled in Patents Research and Analytics, Patent Prosecution, Trademark and design prosecution. He has vast experience in customer service, Client Management, Engineering, Accounting & Taxation. He is currently associated with IP cell of more than 50 universities/institutes and more than 100 SME’s and start ups.
Brief details of the event highlights: Management club of the Commerce department organized an online expert session on 12th February 2021 for the students of B.com on “Role of intellectual Property Rights in Strengthening Innovations”. The session was conducted under the aisle of Institutions Innovations Council (IIC).
The objective of conducting this session was to give an insight to students about intellectual property rights and its role in strengthening innovations.
Response of the audience: B.com students participated in the session enthusiastically and took keen interest in the session as the session was on their needs of generating new ideas which could be helpful for them in developing new idea and getting the patented.

Learning Outcomes: The session focussed on the elucidation of Intellectual Property Rights in simplified manner for students. It also provided details regarding practical applicability of Intellectual Property Rights. It will help students with the vision of creating their own start-ups.
