IEEE YESIST12 Competition on Innovation Challenge
Brief details of the event highlights:
Innovation Challenge is an international project competition established by IEEE, Madras Section and IEEE Education Society to encourage the participants to come up with innovative ideas for the social and Humanitarian issues. YESIST12 acts as a platform to bridge the gap between the engineers and their visionaries to contribute to society with innovations. The competition gave chance to many regions like Africa and Asia to show up their inherent potential to pave the way for the invention.
16 teams participated in the final round from different countries, including 5 teams from Chandigarh Group of Colleges. Eric Brain Anil from India won the first prize of USD 500. The team of students from CBSA-MBA, CGC, Landran; Ms. Bhavna, Ms.Tanu and Ms. Riddhi (3rd semester) won 2nd prize of US$ 250 and 4 teams were selected for honourable mention from Africa, Bangladesh, Peru and India.
