Press Note on Expert Talk on Digital Marketing
Department of Computer Applications, Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran, Mohali organized one day expert lecture cum workshop on Digital Marketing to commemorate World Wide Web Day for the students of BCA and MCA on 1st of August at the seminar hall, Block no- 10 . Dr.Vikas Dhawan, Director-Principal, CGC-COE , Dr. Tejinder Pal Singh Brar , Head of Computer Application Department and faculty members of DCA also graced the occasion.
Objective: – The objective of this expert talk was to celebrate the day and provide an insight about latest advancement in the sphere of the digital marketing and to keep students embraced with the basics , use and the practical aspect of the technology advancing at the global level.
Resource person: Mr. Nayar from Infowiz was the key speaker on the occasion . He is having expertise in the field and the rich experience of more than 07 years.
Audience: More than 80 students and faculty participated and benefited from the talk. The talk received an overwhelming response from the students as it was of their prime interest. The topic is part of their curriculum and the students were excited to have a firsthand experience.
About the lecture and Outcome: The lecture was about the current prevalent marker trends for budding computer graduates and placement oriented. Mr. Nayar also stressed on the high demand of the programming languages in the present progressive world. In the talk, the features and latest techniques of earning money through the languages were discussed which will further broaden the mental horizon of the students and many such applications were discussed that can be utilized at varied platforms . Students were also guided about how to become an entrepreneur.
Conclusion: – Speaker emphatically stressed on the need of learning and acquiring the techniques and practices of the digital world. It was an interactive session where students actively posed questions and enquired curiously about the usage of the languages and marketing trends.
